Set Up A High Quality Website In 2 Hours Or Less

After setting up over 100 websites I know that it’s entirely possible to set up a great website in under 2 hours, in fact a few months back I set up a website in 15 minutes and sold it for $125. I’ve done this several times, set up a great looking website in under 2 hours and then sold it for $75 or more. I’m going to share with you how I do that today.

1 You need to know what the main goal of your website beforehand. That way you can optimize your site to achieve that goal and it makes the process of choosing the right CMS, site layout… much easier.

Most of my websites use Wordpress, there are many advantages to using Wordpress for instance it’s easy to use and allows for tons of customization. So the first thing I do once I have my sites goal is I choose a theme that fits my goal. A theme is the websites basic framework/template in Wordpress.

You’ll also need to choose Plugins (Wordpress customization applications) that help accomplish that goal for instance your site may need a contact form or a sitemap page there are Plugins that will do that for you, along with tons of other things.

Choosing a theme that fits the site type you’re going for and choosing the right Plugins to help out will make a huge difference on how well your site turns out and you may be surprised with how professional a site will look by making good choices during this process.

2 You need to develop a systematic plan for building websites. I typically follow the same basic process for every site I set up. This ensures that I don’t miss anything and makes the process faster and easier.

There is software that can make things even faster, for instance Fantastico is a Cpanel software found on some web-hosting providers that will install Wordpress for you. You just have to fill in a few blanks with your website details.

To take it a step further you can use cloning software to create copies of your other Wordpress websites, then you can upload the entire site to your new domain with Wordpress installed to clone the original site. This allows you to create a high quality website in 15 minutes because you may only have to do some minor changes.

3 Convey your site goal and add in some nice graphics. If you want your site to get attention you want to have a nice header graphic or have a plain clean looking site, both work well depending on the occasion. I typically go with the plain clean look.

More importantly you want to make sure your site gets your main goal across, for instance I have websites that has the main goal of selling a specific service, so all content is used to communicate the features and benefits of buying my service.

Choosing the right design, layout and content is not always easy but with the advice I shared with you today you should have less problems and be able to cut down on the time it takes to build an awesome website.
