Whenever you start any kind of business venture online or off it's extremely important to have a plan laid out. The truth is 97% of those who explore starting an online business fail and 9 times out of 10 it's because they didn't focus in on a plan.
I'm part of the top 3% so please read this article carefully. Your online marketing plan should be based on the fundamentals, every business that's based on shortcuts and trickery tends to be short lived... don't do it.
So make sure you have your plan focus on a fundamental online marketing strategy that has been working for at least several months. Do not try and reinvent the wheel, do something that has been proven to work by others and then venture out and try something unique once you have the experience.
A businesses success relies on cash flow, you need to have a source of cash in order to get results, most of us successful at online marketing started out by dipping into our savings and still had to struggle to come out the other side a winner.
Having a successful online business is a dream come true, but it takes a ton of work to get there. So you need to focus on a plan of action that you are going to lay out. This plan must be something that is viable for you and focuses on your strengths, so if you're thinking of starting a service for offline based businesses but are to scared to talk with them you need to get over that hurdle fast or choose a different business model.
Your ability to produce results will come down to how much you focus and dedicate your time on that one business plan. I started out with one business plan and then moved on to add more after it didn't require a lot of time to keep that original business going and that's perfectly fine and is an evolution of an online marketer ...and their typically ADD nature.
The best thing you can do with your business plan is get an experienced online marketer to look it over, even if they are not using that specific business model themselves. The main reason for this is that they provide a fresh set of eyes and can use their experience to identify potential problems that you may be blind to (usually due to lack of experience). They can also help you refine your plan so that you get results a lot faster.
